NU Car Rental at LAX Airport

There are 8 terminals, grouped around the FAA Tower, at Los Angeles International Airport. Together they make up the huge Tom Bradley International Terminal, also called the Terminal B building.

If your car rental company at Los Angeles Airport has an off-airport depot, you can take a courtesy shuttle bus to get there. Your voucher will tell you which telephone number to call to alert your provider to your arrival. Every 3 to 5 minutes shuttles arrive at the Pink LAX shuttle pick-up point on the Lower Level / Arrivals of the terminals.

Shuttles will also return you to the departure terminal at the end of your car hire agreement, after you've returned the vehicle, keys and documents to the service team.

There are more than 10 car rental companies at LAX – all of them well-known suppliers of affordable fleet vehicles.

To rent a vehicle in the US drivers from overseas must have a valid driving licence issued by their own country and an International Driving Permit. Most car hire companies will allow drivers aged 21 or older to rent from most of their fleet vehicles. Younger drivers, those aged less than 21 years, typically need to pay a Young Drivers Fee. This is added daily to the overall rental cost.
