About 23 miles from Hollywood, Los Angeles International Airport is the gateway into California's main tourist attractions such as Disneyland, Universal Studios or Knotts Berry Farm. Terminal B, or Tom Bradley International Terminal, consists of 8 separate terminals - which you arrive at and depart from depends on the airline you use.

If your car rental company at Los Angeles Airport does not have a desk inside the terminals, simply follow signs to the Lower Level/Arrivals and wait under the Pink LAX signs. You can call your car hire company on the Customer Service number on your voucher and tell them that you have arrived.

Please use the free LAX-it shuttle bus, which arrives every 3 to 5 minutes at the airport's inner curbside, just outside the Baggage Reclaim area of your terminal.

To rent a vehicle in the USA you need a valid driver's licence, an International Driving Permit and a valid credit card in the driver's name. With luxury vehicle rental you may need to supply two valid credit cards to cover the deposit.

Most rental companies ask that drivers are at least 21 years old, but smaller cars can usually be rented by younger drivers. However, the car rental provider may charge an additional Young Drivers' Fee. This added per day to the overall rental charge.
