In addition, LAX provides arriving passengers with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority Bus Center, from where passengers have access to the public transport system covering Los Angeles and other cities in the southern Californian region. Free shuttle buses take Los Angeles arrivals to this main bus center directly from the terminals.

Local bus lines, taxis, door-to-door private minivan or shuttle van services, a light rail metro system and the aforementioned rental cars are all at passengers disposal, when they arrive at LAX.
